Skill coach · Clash Royale
Counter-pushing coach
The cheapest attack in the game is the one built from troops that just finished defending.
Updated
When your defenders survive, they walk forward. Adding a little support behind them makes an attack the opponent has to answer, and you only paid a fraction of its value.
Strong decks are built around this: defend cheaply, then let the survivors become the push.
What usually goes wrong
- Letting survivors walk aloneA lone defender walking into a full-health tower dies for nothing. Support it or leave it at home.
- Over-committing behind itDumping your whole bar behind a counter-push leaves nothing for the opponent's reply.
- Defending too far forwardDefenders placed at the bridge die before they can push. Defend deeper and they arrive with more health.

What Mercina looks for in your match
- Defences that left strong troops alive that you never supported.
- Counter-pushes that over-committed and left you open on the other lane.

A plan for your next match
- 01After each defence, check what survived before playing anything new.
- 02Support survivors with one card, not three.
- 03Defend a tile or two deeper so your defenders arrive healthier.
Mercina writes a plan like this from your own match, every time.
